RFID UHF Fixed Reader F5013-H

High-performance fixed F5013-H is an industrial-grade UHF RFID reader suitable for complex working conditions and harsh environments. F5013-H has powerful radio frequency functions and a built-in 2dBi ceramic antenna, which can be used in scenarios such as desktop card issuance and production line management. The external SMA antenna interface can be adapted to different antennas to meet different coverage requirements. The maximum RF output power is 30dBm, the sensitivity is -82dBm, and fully supports the EPC global UHF Class1 GEN2/ISO 18000-6C air interface protocol, with stable read and write performance and super anti-interference ability, and the external 8dBi antenna reads and writes ordinary tags within a distance 0-20 meters, multi-tag reading can reach more than 800tags/s, and its working area can cover China, Taiwan, the United States, Europe, South Korea, Japan, etc.

Based on the new generation of ARM-CORTEX-M3 processor, F5013-H adopts industrial-grade design, and enables related functions such as watchdog circuit, heartbeat packet, real-time monitoring of device status, etc., with good stability. At the same time, based on 10 years of experience in the RFID hardware industry, a large number of project application requirements are pre-realized inside the reader, reducing the amount of customer application software development, and the project implementation is convenient and fast.

The reader has built-in multiple tag reading modes such as master-slave mode, automatic mode, and channel door mode, and has optimized functions for environments such as automated assembly lines, barrier-free RFID channels, warehouses, and automatic inventory cabinets. At the same time, the environment for simultaneous application of more than 100 readers is optimized to support a large number of readers to work simultaneously and run stably.

The F5013-H reader adopts an all-aluminum alloy bottom shell design, which has strong anti-interference ability and can work continuously and stably for a long time in harsh environments. Product readers are mainly oriented to the Internet of Things industries that require high performance and stability, including warehousing and logistics, clothing, production line management and other industries.

  4. Integrated Ethernet port, Mini USB, RS485, Wi-Fi (optional) function interface, convenient for users to choose the appropriate interface for connection and use. The Mini USB interface can be connected at any time, which is convenient for configuring device parameters. If the two communication ports of the serial port and the network port are connected normally, the same label data can be read at the same time. If the network is not connected successfully, data can be transmitted through the serial port;
  5. When the original network port connection is disconnected, the buzzer of the device has an alarm fault reminder function, and the indicator light will flash to alarm at the same time;
  6. The device is designed with 6 IO ports (4 outputs and 2 inputs) for users to expand applications: 2 input IO ports can be set to trigger and read EPC, can set high/low level trigger, reverse stop; or can set after trigger It will stop automatically after working for a period of time. The card reading method can be set to read only one card and then stop or read continuously;

Simple fault description and troubleshooting

Run indicator light flashes:

  1. Start and run, 800ms on, 700ms off;
  2. The wired network/Wi-Fi connection is successful, 160ms on, 140ms off;
  3. When entering the MQTT connection state, the blinking speed increases by 5 times on the basis of a successful network connection.

Buzzer prompt:

  1. The Wi-Fi/wired network connection is successful, and the buzzer will sound 3 times, with an interval of about 50ms;
  2. The MQTT connection is successful, and the buzzer sounds 3 times in a row, with an interval of about 20ms;
  3. After the wired network connection is successful, if an abnormal disconnection occurs, the buzzer will beep for a long time, with an interval of 500ms;
  4. The parameter is set successfully, the buzzer will sound twice continuously, and the time interval is about 50ms;
  5. After restoring the system settings, the buzzer will sound 3 consecutive times with an interval of about 80ms;
  6. The self-test of the power-on module fails, and there are 2 consecutive beeps, with an interval of 800ms;
  7. The self-test of the power-on module is successful, and the buzzer will sound once for 200ms.
